Event Board

The planning, operations, and financial oversight for the outing are handled by the annual golf outing event board.

Amy Saul, Annual Golf Outing Director

Amy manages all event preparation and on-site aspects of the annual golf outing to honor Chris.  She is the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Career Development at Moravian College.  She oversees the Career Center, Center for Leadership and Service and the HUB/Event Management office; directs all career planning efforts that prepare students for graduate and professional school as well as the world of work including programming designed to connect students and professionals such as career fairs, networking events, externships, internship stipend programs and a variety of other initiatives; provides for individual career counseling, advising and assessment, manages the Career Center's relationship with all community partners. 

Todd James, Chairman
Todd is the Chairman of the Annual Golf Outing's Event Board and the Memorial Scholarship Fund. He founded the CPT Seifert Memorial Golf Outing in 2004 as an undergraduate at Moravian College. 

In his professional career, he is the Senior Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Acceleron Pharma in Cambridge, MA.  Prior to Acceleron, he was a Senior Vice President at the Trout Group and Trout Capital, a leading strategic IR/advisory firm and broker dealer for biotechnology companies, located in New York City. 

He is also a co-founder of the annual "All Jacked Up" social fundraiser in NYC benefiting the Histiocytosis Association of America. 

Joel Kostelac, Vice Chairman

Joel was a classmate of Chris’s in the ROTC program at Lehigh University, and was commissioned into the Army alongside him in 1997. He served as a Rifle and Antitank Platoon Leader, and Company Executive Officer in the 10th Mountain Division, Ft. Drum, New York from 1997 - 2000. Following that, Joel served as a staff officer and Rifle Company Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC, and took part in combat operations in Afghanistan in 2002 and Iraq in 2003 – 2004.


Joel left the Army late 2004 and currently works as a Project Manager and Design Engineer for CET Engineering Services in Harrisburg, PA, an environmental engineering consulting firm, specializing in water and wastewater treatment, collection and conveyance.

Terri Seifert, Honorary Co-Chair

Terri is the surviving spouse of Captain Seifert.  She is currently a 4th grade teacher at St. Michael the Archangel School.  Previously, she was the Coordinator of Community Service at Moravian College.  Terri has a B.A. in Political Science from Moravian College.  She has worked for the Boys & Girls Club of America.  Terri served as a consultant for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund and continues to serve as a board member.

Committee Members:

Bart Womack, CSM, US Army Retired

Bart served the United States Army with distinction for over 29 years as a professional soldier. Command Sergeant Major Womack retired from active duty in 2006.

In his free time he volunteers, by mentoring Army ROTC Cadets and working with returning Veterans in the, ‘Saddles for Soldiers’ program, designed to assist Veterans and their families to cope with the trauma and stressors returning from combat, by the use of horses.

He proudly adds the title of ‘Author’ to his resume, with the recent release of his new book, ‘Embedded Enemy - The Insider Threat.’

Tom Seman 
Tom has participated in the memorial outing since its start.  He is currently in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. In his professional career, he is a Senior Project Manager at AssetWorks LLC.  He was previously a Training Consultant at Thomson Reuters Corporation.  Tom has a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Moravian College.

Greg Webb
Greg was a founding father of Moravian College’s Delta Tau Delta chapter along with Chris and their fellow brothers.  He also spent time working as a Resident Advisor with Chris and Terri during their time at Moravian.  Greg has participated in the memorial golf outing from its outset. Greg earned a B.A. with a dual major in Business Management and Psychology at Moravian and continued on to Villanova where he earned his M.B.A.  He currently works as an Applications Analyst at OSIsoft, LLC.
