Event Board

The planning, operations, and financial oversight for the outing are under the control of the CPT Chris Seifert Memorial Golf Outing Committee.  With the event under this committee’s control, we are able to ensure the longevity and integrity of the outing. 

 

Todd James, Chairman   
                      

Todd is currently the Chairman of the Annual Golf Outing's Event Board and the Memorial Scholarship Fund that is managed as part of the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation's Endowment.  He founded the CPT Seifert Memorial Golf Outing in 2004 as an undergraduate at Moravian College.  

In his professional career, he manages the Trout Group's Capital Markets Strategies Desk and is an analyst for Trout Capital in New York City.  
 

He is also the co-founder and current event committee member of the annual "All Jacked Up" social fundraiser in NYC benefiting the Histiocytosis Association of America. 

Joel Kostelac, Vice Chairman

Joel was a classmate of Chris’s in the ROTC program at Lehigh University, and was commissioned into the Army alongside him in 1997.  He served as a Rifle and Antitank Platoon Leader, and Company Executive Officer in the 10th Mountain Division, Ft. Drum, New York from 1997 - 2000.  Following that,   Joel served as a staff officer and Rifle Company Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC, and took part in combat operations in Afghanistan in 2002 and Iraq in 2003 – 2004. 

 

Joel left the Army late 2004 and currently works as a Project Manager and Design Engineer for CET Engineering Services in Harrisburg, PA, an environmental engineering consulting firm, specializing in water and wastewater treatment, collection and conveyance. 

Bill White, Honorary Co-Chair

Mr. White is currently the Chairman and CEO of Constellations/Group in New York City. Bill has dedicated his career to honoring, advocating and supporting our nation's military personnel, veterans and their families. He served as president of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the Intrepid Relief Fund.  As President of the Intrepid family of foundations and lead director at their sister organizations, Bill led its fundraising totaling more than $600 million.  Bill spearheaded the $115 million capital Campaign for the 2006-08 restoration of the museum, building the Intrepid brand to an internationally respected one.

 

He is twice the recipient of the Meritorious Public Service Award for extraordinary service from the US Coast Guard and for outstanding support from the US Navy. 

Terri Seifert, Honorary Co-Chair

Terri is the surviving spouse of Captain Seifert.  She was most recently the Coordinator of Community Service at Moravian College.  Terri has a B.A. in Political Science from Moravian College.  She has worked for the Boys & Girls Club of America.  Terri served as a consultant for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund and continues to serve as a board member.

Committee Members:

Bill Zaninelli

Bill has been involved with the memorial outing since its inception in 2004.  He has been the main contributor to the outing’s annual raffle. In his professional career, he is a Regional Sales Manager at Long Trail Brewing Company.  He is a graduate of Moravian College.

Charlsie James 
Charlsie has participated in the memorial outing since its founding.  In her professional career, she is an Account Manager at SNL Financial in New York City.  Charlsie has a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Sociology from Moravian College.

Tom Seman 
Tom has participated in the memorial outing since its start.  He is a member of the Team CPT Seifert obstacle course team, participiating in events in memory of CPT Seifert.  In his professional career, he was most recently a Training Consultant at Thomson Reuters Corporation.  Tom has a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Moravian College.

Faye Zaninelli
Faye has participated in the memorial outing since its founding.  In her professional career, she is a teacher in the Jackson School District.  She has a B.A. in English Writing with a minor in Elementary Education from Moravian College.
